How do I get into Subscription Center?

I have been working in sales for CAD Masters for long enough to know that this is the most common question I get.  The ever elusive, somewhat finicky Autodesk Subscription Center… Autodesk has created some FAQs to address the issue but inevitably, I get the call. Autodesk has packed Subscription Center with lots of goodies lately and most of their customers don’t take full advantage of the offerings. I highly recommend it. First, let’s get you in:

Go to http://subscription.autodesk.com. It should look like the following:

The quick and easy way to “reset” your login credentials is to follow the next 3 steps (Note: The Contract Manager – person and email assigned as the contact person on the Subscription Contract –only will be able to do this).

Step 1: Click Forgot User ID? and enter email address. Autodesk will then send you a Temporary User ID in a few minutes…

Step 2: Go back to the Subscription Center landing page and Click Forgot Password? Enter the Temporary User ID you just received and the same email address. Autodesk will then send you a Temporary Password in a few minutes…

Step 3: Go back to the Subscription Center landing page one more time and enter the Temporary User ID and Temporary Password you just received. Autodesk will then prompt you to create permanent login credentials.

Quick tip: The “What city were you born in?” question.  Try the one associated with your company or agency contract. Autodesk usually defaults to this for contracts that never have been accessed.  Most of us never remember actually being asked this question when our Subscription Contracts were set up in the first place.

You will see a Welcome Screen with a link to access your Subscription benefits.

OK, you’re in The next entry in this series will explore the benefits of Subscription and how to access them.
