Subscription Series: Fast Times at Autodesk University

Last time I discussed how to log into Autodesk Subscription Center. Now that we are in, we can discuss the many, many functions that Autodesk has packed in there.  But, since we are coming up to the popular annual event known as Autodesk University, I thought I would jump ahead to show you how to access Autodesk University sessions through the Center and invite you to attend this year’s event in person or “virtually.”  Autodesk University has become one of the best CAD conferences around.  It puts everyone under one very large roof and offers so many training opportunities that you could not possibly attend them all. Autodesk personnel, industry experts, instructors, and VARs guide you through the wonderful world of CAD and BIM.

So let me show you how to access last year’s plethora of information and then motivate you to go this year…

Step 1: We all remember this screen –

Step 2: Once you login, you will see the Following Welcome Screen:

Click Access Your Subscription Benefits

Step 3: Click the Training Link on the left hand side of the screen…

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see a link under Additional Training Resources called Autodesk University Course Material

Step 4: You will be kicked out to another page which is your main landing page for Autodesk University.

There you will have access to last year’s complete class listings from AU, including video and supplemental documents. You will also get information about the current year’s Autodesk University. Have fun exploring…

Step 5: Attend AU 2010…
